Honeymoon in Uttarakhand

honeymoon in north east

Carved out of the hilly tracts of the state Uttar Pradesh in November 2000, Uttarakhand is a breathtakingly beautiful honeymoon place. The awesome Himalayas which straddle the state from end to end enclose flower bedecked vales, frothy white streams, whispering coniferous forests, soft Rolling Meadows, bountiful orchards, serene lakes and frosty glaciers. It is a cold place but vat the same time very ideal for new-weds to spend time together.
This is also a land that infuses spirituality in the non-believer, evokes the spirit of adventure in the most passive of personalities, and draws city-tamed folks to the untamed wilds of its national parks and sanctuaries.
Apart from popular locations that Uttarakhand is already famous for, there are a lot many destinations within this generously endowed state that are tucked away from the mainstream and just waiting to be discovered. Consider Khirsu, if you’ve ever dreamt of staying in a cottage right in the midst of a thick forest of pine, oak and deodar, and your gateway to the outside world is only through a path of apple trees, and exotic herbs and wild flowers. Sit back and count at least three hundred peaks that ring your little cottage. This is an ideal honeymoon package in Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand honeymoon packages also include being a part of the celestial playground of the gods, take the road to Govindghat and walk into a wide alpine valley studded with a million flowers in psychedelic hues. Shimla package tour includes the valley of flowers from end to end, wade through shallow streams, walk over log bridges and sink into a palette of chest high foliage. This Garden of Eden reveals itself only during the months of July and august, so plan your trip accordingly.

If you want to pack in some adventure along with the solitude that Uttarakhand offers, head for Munsyari in the east, from where you can trek up to the Milam and Ralam glaciers and the Nanda Devi peak, the world’s highest.
Clad in soft mists that lift lazily to reveal the snow clad peaks of Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nandakot and Panchchuli is the incredibly beautiful hill town of Kausani. Having inspired the writings of many poets, Kausani is a year round major railheads and highway.
Cutting a different picture is the bowl-shaped Chaukori where tea plantations alternate with orchards and pine forests amidst the magnificent peaks. Again, binsar, hidden from the glare of the crowds that throng Nainital just 95km away is a haven of peace with mesmerizing views and splendid trekking trials.
Taking a solitary road to the right at Joshimath is Auli, which is Uttarakhand skiing capital. Married couples are often found here enjoying the sport between them. Between January and March, the entire place turns into smooth snow covered slopes protected from the chilly winds by deodar and oak trees.

Uttarakhand honeymoon packages are very inspiring and nature engaged and provides a sense of togetherness with its beautiful landscape.
